Horses requiring extractions, incisor reductions and/or power tool work
are charged $50 or more additionally,
depending on the severity of the problem.
The average cost is approximately $100-175.00 per horse. However, fees may be higher depending upon the condition of your horse and the length of time to complete the work.
Keep in mind that:
Cost for sedation is dependent upon your veterinarian.
Please ensure that your veterinary arrangements are made ahead of time.
Please contact me to discuss whether sedation for your horses may be required.
De-beaning and sheathcleaning is only an additional $35 if I am providing dental care or therapy for your horse.
FEES FOR EQUINE SHIATSU THERAPY :
I will provide Shiatsu Massage Therapy and Acupuncture for horses if I have determined that they do not have any dental problems. This requires a Full-Mouth Examination which is free of charge for any horse for whom I will provide Shiatsu massage therapy. If it is discovered that there are dental issues of concern, it is my recommendation to treat the dental condition and then follow with Shiatsu and/or Acupuncture in order to obtain the best overall result for the horse.
Hourly Fee: $85.00
I also request that you honor the advice of your trusted Veterinarian with respect to any chronic or acute symptoms presenting in your horses.
I encourage my clients to observe and learn techniques from me that they can use to work with their horses in my absence.
